The Mission to Switzerland – Reuse of Construction Materials, held from 22 to 25 March 2026 and organised by GreenWin in collaboration with WBI Research & Innovation and AWEX, offers an immersive programme for companies, research centres and universities. Its purpose is to identify leading Swiss practices in material reuse through visits to key institutions such as EMPA’s NEST, innovative architectural projects (Halle 118, Grubenstrasse, Werkstadt Areal), and major research facilities like the Smart Living Lab. Participants will meet researchers from EPFL and HEIA‑Fribourg, explore flagship projects (RE:CRETE, NeighborHub, Swiss‑Renov), and join roundtables on deconstruction and circular construction strategies. The mission aims to foster transnational collaboration and stimulate innovation in sustainable construction.
