About

The product redesign project aims to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for professional hairdressing accessories, focusing specifically on hairbrushes. This initiative is part of a broader effort to support the transition to a circular economy, prioritizing environmental impact reduction, durability, and product recyclability.

Key elements of the project include:

- Eco-friendly materials : The use of sustainable and recyclable materials such as bamboo and bioplastics to minimize the environmental footprint.
- Modular design : Products will feature replaceable parts, extending the life of hairbrushes by allowing worn-out components to be replaced instead of discarding the entire item.
- Functionality and comfort : Special emphasis is placed on ergonomics to ensure that professional hairdressers can use these tools comfortably while maintaining high performance.
- Ease of recycling: At the end of their lifecycle, products will be easy to disassemble and recycle, contributing to waste reduction.

This project, developed under the Circular Wallonia Innovation Path 2022, fully aligns with Wallonia's ecological transition strategy, promoting innovative and responsible design practices while meeting the needs of professionals.
