About
The project’s vision is to promote circularity in the stationary battery sector at every stage of their lifecycle by aligning economic profitability with environmental sustainability objectives.
The project aims to develop a Proof of Concept (PoC) for a decision-support platform that will co-optimize economic and resource-use aspects for stationary batteries. This platform will be applicable at the design stage (eco-design), during operational use (resource optimization), and at the retrofit stage (remanufacturing).
The Collignon Eng. site in Erezée, equipped with an energy mix including photovoltaic and battery storage, will provide the necessary data to evaluate the PoC’s performance.
