Event details
The Digital Agency, the Infopole Cluster TIC, the Tweed Cluster, and the H20 Cluster are pleased to invite you to an afternoon dedicated to Open Data in Wallonia and its role in water and energy management.
What is Open Data? It is about making information available, but it also promotes transparency, improves decision-making, encourages innovation, strengthens collaborations, and raises public awareness.
Through a 360-degree presentation on the topic, two national networks will be delighted to share inspiring use cases with you:
EAU France EAU France is the public service website for water information. Its purpose is to facilitate access to public information in the field of water in France. The presentation will be by Annie Olry, project manager of the SIE (Water Information Service), and/or Dimitri MEUNIER - Director of Data, Knowledge, and Information Systems & ST Sandre - Eaufrance, the portal for the Water Information System.
ORE Agency The ORE Agency (Energy Network Operators) is a non-profit association created in 2017. It brings together all electricity and gas distributors in France (including overseas departments). It provides them with digital services to facilitate and streamline energy market operations. For external stakeholders, it makes available free multi-energy and multi-operator distribution network data, through data visualizations or open data. This data plays a key role in the energy transition of French territories and contributes to informing citizens. During the event, you will be able to attend a presentation by Aude de Touchet, project director, or Yves Fouquet, operations director of the ORE Agency.
Based on these two experiences, thematic workshops will be organized to determine what the ideal situation could be for the Walloon Region and the tools needed to achieve it. The goal is to initiate the dynamics that will make it possible.
Seats are limited. Register for free by Monday, May 22.
