As part of its "Shaping Europe's digital future" strategy, the European Commission is organizing its 4th Digital Day. For this 4th edition, two statements are on the program: "The standard of excellence of EU startup nations" and "A green and digital transformation of the EU".
The aim of these declarations is to provide a strong incentive for ratifying countries to take action. And to accept control over the commitments they have made. This is no trivial act, as evidenced by the creation of a Startup Nations' hub to monitor progress in this area. The other major declaration of this 4th edition of Digital Day concerns the ecological preoccupation of the use of technologies, in line with the guideline of the European Green Deal. Europe aims to support global competition in the green technology market, notably by promoting innovative technologies, low-power electronics and the environmental sustainability of ICT solutions.
