Win4Expertise – Strategic Marketing Consulting is part of the EXPERTISE axis of the Win4Expertise program and can be applied for at any time. It aims to support Walloon SMEs in evaluating the commercial potential of their innovations by funding up to 75% of subcontracting costs for strategic marketing consulting.

Benefits of the Grant:

• 75% of subcontracting costs covered, subject to budget availability.

• Support in evaluating the commercial potentia of an innovative product or process.

• Optimization of strategic positioning in the market.

• Assistance with the transfer and valorization of acquired technologies.

Eligible Expenses:

For internal development:

• Studies on the commercial potential of an innovative product or process.

• Market analysis and demand evaluation.

• Assessment of competition and strategic positioning.

• Determination of optimal pricing.

• Compliance studies with regulations in target markets.

• Analysis of protection options for the innovation (patents, certifications).

• Development of strategic commercial and communication plans.

For acquiring foreign technology:

• Evaluation of the technology and its integration potential.

• Benchmarking and market analysis.

• Assessment of the technology’s valorization potential.

• Identification of training needs for technology adoption.

• Legal assistance in contract negotiations.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The company must be an SME (micro, small, or medium-sized business), registered with the BCE and having an operational site in Wallonia.

• It must not be financially distressed.

• Maximum grant: €200,000 over three years (including Win4Expertise - Technical Support).

• Not part of "de minimis" aid schemes.

Evaluation Criteria:

• Innovative nature of the project (contribution to scientific progress and new knowledge acquisition).

• Alignment with the company’s development strategy and regional economic needs.

• Economic valorization potential and job creation.

• Positive or neutral impact on sustainable development.

• Degree of risk and project financing feasibility.

Application Procedure:

• Applications accepted year-round via SPW Economie, Emploi, Recherche.

• Processing time: 3 to 6 months from submission to funding decision.

• If approved, a contract between the Walloon Region and the company is established.
