About
The House of Better-Being, initiated by the Grand Hospital of Charleroi and built by the non-profit organization Les Viviers Santé, is a place for replenishment for people with cancer. Designed in wood, with rainwater collection, a green roof, and photovoltaic panels, it promotes biodiversity and is entirely modular. This sustainable and adaptable project illustrates best practices in circular economy in construction. The goals are indeed to use low carbon footprint construction materials, to design the house with modular and evolutive spaces, allowing for future adaptations without demolition.
