Textile Circularity – Circular Fashion Week 2025

Major objectives of the call for projects

Accelerate the emergence of innovative circular textile solutions by supporting projects capable of sustainably transforming the sector, from design to the end of the material's life, in order to reduce the environmental impact of textiles and strengthen a more resilient, local, and responsible industry.

Four categories to completely rethink the textile value chain

Applicants are invited to propose a project in one of the four categories identified as priorities to accelerate the circular transition of the sector:

1. Innovative products incorporating recycled textiles Fashion, accessories, furniture, sports, decoration… The expected projects should develop value-added products incorporating recycled textiles or materials from local recycling channels.

2. Eco-design and new circular models

Tools, services, or processes that allow the collection, sorting, preparation, or enhancement of textile stocks, or the design of modular, durable, repairable products made to last.

3. Traceability and textile material data Technological solutions ensuring the traceability of materials: marking, identification, measurement systems, embedded data... everything that allows tracking and certifying the life cycle of materials.

4. Innovative textile materials & sustainable processes Development of new fibers, bio-based materials, advanced recycling processes, component separation, low environmental impact dyeing or finishing solutions. These four areas cover the entire life cycle of textiles and enable project leaders to engage with the sector's key priority challenges.

Target audience

This call is open to everyone: students, employees, entrepreneurs, people undergoing professional retraining, or intrapreneurs.

It aims to identify and support the talents who will imagine the materials, products, and circular models that will shape the textiles of tomorrow.

Accelerating the circular transformation of the textile sector

Thanks to its flexible and personalized support model, Un Cube Axel supports projects each year that combine innovation, material expertise, and positive impact. The textile call for projects strengthens this momentum by positioning circularity as a key driver of innovation. The goal: to accelerate the circular transition, both in the Hauts-de-France region and nationally, and to encourage the emergence of a new generation of committed companies.
