The Smart Borehole Field project aims to improve drilling practices associated with geothermal energy, focusing particularly on the optimization of borehole fields. The primary objective is to minimize the necessary infrastructure while maximizing recoverable energy. To achieve this goal, the technology used for the proof of concept (PoC) is based on digital modeling of borehole fields. This innovative approach allows for the refinement of drilling techniques, enhances energy efficiency, and contributes to the sustainable development of geothermal resources.
