Oodima

Project

Oodima offers an eco-friendly solution with a 100% biodegradable liquid soap made from local sunflower oil. By valorizing the entire raw material (zero waste) and using reused glass containers, the company follows a circular approach. The Olé Coop project, launched in 2023, aims to enhance local sourcing by involving more local farmers in oil production.

About

Oodima was born from the meeting between a Walloon farmer and a chemist, with the aim of offering a sustainable alternative to the polluting cosmetic industry. The Oodima liquid soap is made from local sunflower oil, using innovative eco-design (LANSINK scale 1), where all parts of the raw material are valorized, ensuring a zero waste product. The soap is 100% biodegradable, and its end-of-life is also considered with reused glass containers through a deposit system. In parallel, the Olé Coop cooperative, launching in 2023, will raise awareness among local farmers to participate more in local oil production, thus enhancing local sourcing while complementing Oodima's current supplies. The soap is distributed locally in the Walloon Region.
