About
Mundo-LLN is a flagship sustainable construction project in Wallonia, developed by Mundo-Lab. Located in Louvain-la-Neuve, it combines the renovation of a former farm with the construction of a 2,300 m² modular building designed to host NGOs, non-profits, and social enterprises. Designed by A2M architects, the project embraces circular economy and eco-design principles: a 100% reused steel frame, bio-based materials, and recovered furniture and equipment. The underground parking was conceived to be convertible into office space, enhancing modularity and adaptability. Mundo-LLN aims to reduce carbon footprint, promote reuse, and create a collaborative work environment. It is part of the Circular Wallonia strategy and stands as an innovative model for low-impact buildings.
