Where do the materials in our fabrics come from?
How are they produced?
What are the environmental & social impacts of textiles?
What about animal welfare?
What are the most ethical and eco-responsible fibres and transformation processes?
What are the reliable labels?
Recycling and second hand. How? Where? Issues and difficulties.
How to act as a consumer-actor for a more just and desirable society through one's consumption of textiles? We will see concrete actions to be implemented.
FOR WHOM?
For any consumer interested in improving her/his way of consuming and not being fooled by greenwashing. This training course will teach you the basics to better choose your clothes.
For all textile and fashion professionals who want to improve their knowledge.
As ethical and sustainable fashion is a vast subject, even for the most experienced, there is always something to learn and to exchange on our beliefs and the different controversies in the field.
