About
The Granulakor project, led by Eurakor, aims to transform excavated soil from roadworks into recycled aggregates. These aggregates are then incorporated into concrete formulations intended for small local businesses (installers, landscaping companies, small construction firms, municipalities). This approach seeks to:
Reduce reliance on major industry players by supporting the autonomy of smaller enterprises.
Repurpose low-quality waste, giving it a second life and limiting the use of quarries.
Promote knowledge sharing and skill dissemination across the territory, fostering replicable local supply chains
Strengthen the circular economy by converting materials considered waste into valuable resources.
The project is based on collaboration among numerous local stakeholders and offers strong potential for replication in other regions.
