About

The result of collaboration between the Ministers for the Economy and the Environment, as well as their respective administrations, this call aims to support innovative Walloon companies wishing to contribute to a more circular economy.

It provides support from the Walloon Region to remove regulatory or technical/legal obstacles to the development of circular economy projects. It proposes direct collaboration between the companies and administrations concerned, in order to open up or make better known the existing space for dialogue, listening and co-construction.

The projects selected will receive free personalised technical and legal support. This does not involve funding, but rather the provision of targeted expertise to analyse the obstacle identified and propose practical, feasible solutions. The aim of this support is also to develop solutions that can be generalised and replicated, making each participant a figurehead in his or her field.

What we can offer you

  • Tailor-made support, provided by technical and legal experts, to:

  • Understand and interpret the applicable regulatory frameworks;

  • Identify practical solutions to any obstacles encountered;

  • Facilitate exchanges with the relevant authorities;

  • Encourage synergies with other players in the circular economy.

This support does not replace funding or consultancy work, but it does offer you strategic support to unblock and develop your project.

What types of obstacles are involved?

  • Regulatory or legislative obstacles;

  • Obstacles linked to administrative complexity;

  • Obstacles linked to a norm, standard or obligation;

  • Logistical and/or technical obstacles.

Who is it for?

This call for proposals is aimed at companies, not-for-profit economic organisations and cooperatives based in the Walloon Region.
