The CBE JU 2026 call for project proposals is now open for submission. A total of €170.7 million across 13 topics will support the development and scale-up of competitive circular bio-based industries in Europe. All stakeholders of the circular bio-based sector are invited to apply by 22 September 2026 at 17:00 CET.

CBE JU funds three types of actions:
Innovation Actions support the scale-up of solutions from prototype to market, including flagship projects deploying first-of-their-kind industrial facilities.
Research and Innovation Actions generate new knowledge and validate innovative technologies.
Coordination and Support Actions strengthen collaboration, outreach and knowledge exchange across the bioeconomy.
