About
Only panels that can no longer be reused as is are targeted. The project involves shredding these panels to produce blown wood fiber insulation. An innovative process (patent pending) has been developed to recycle pieces of wood fiber panels, specifically targeting end-of-life panels from deconstruction, furniture, and fittings (such as MDF, HDF, LDF, etc.).
This process transforms 100% of the panels' mass into insulating fibers (excluding foreign matter), conforming to the standards for wood fibers produced from fresh wood for building insulation (lambda value of 0.40).
The goal is to quickly launch an insulation production unit by the end of 2023, with a capacity gradually increasing from 1,500 tons to 10,000 tons.
The Go Circular project aims to optimize sourcing and integrate this activity into the existing network of actors in the deconstruction and recycling of materials.
