About

Ferme du Faascht, based in the Attert valley in Belgian Lorraine, is a farm specializing in dairy and beef production. A pioneer in Wallonia, in 2003 it developed a biomethanization site for the production of renewable energy. Committed to promoting agricultural biomethanization, the farm sees this sector as a response to the current challenges of sustainable development and the circular economy. Its activities include biomethanization, Holstein dairy farming and a herd of Parthenais cows, as well as tomato growing in horticultural greenhouses powered by biomethanization heat. Ferme du Faascht is committed to producing quality food while respecting the environment and animal welfare.
