Resulting from a partnership between Wallonia and AKT for Wallonia, the Environmental Unit has been active since 1994. Its primary mission is to raise awareness among businesses about environmental management and pollution reduction. The ultimate goal is for companies to view the environment as an opportunity rather than a constraint.

Our Services The Environmental Unit of AKT for Wallonia serves businesses located in Wallonia (whether they are AKT members or not) that wish to improve their environmental management.
Specifically, the Environmental Unit:
Conducts environmental assessments for Walloon companies;
Answers all questions related to the environment;
Provides assistance with procedures related to environmental permits;
Develops and disseminates practical tools tailored to the needs of SMEs;
Organizes information sessions on environmental legislation and best practices observed in businesses;
Publishes a bi-monthly newsletter on environmental news.
All our services are provided free of charge and with full confidentiality.
