Advertising is a cornerstone of our capitalist society. It encourages (over)consumption, creates artificial needs, and promotes products that are harmful to the planet or society. The issues are numerous. However, like all sectors, advertising will need to reinvent itself to address the climate challenges of this century—perhaps even more so than other sectors, given its power and ability to reach vast audiences.

In this presentation, we will explore the key steps to make advertising compatible with the ecological transition. Selecting sustainable products and services, creating new communication ideals, strictly banning greenwashing, and reducing carbon impact are essential measures that will be discussed during this webinar.
