Inaugurated in September 2022, the Material Library, located in Tournai, is part of the Ressourcerie Le Carré asbl.
The Material Library is dedicated to the recovery and low-cost sale of construction materials, tools, and equipment. Its activities clearly align with the circular economy by promoting reuse.
In 2023, the Material Library collected 136 tons of materials, tools, and construction equipment. The team also participated in 3 deconstruction projects.
The Material Library is also a social enterprise that supports professional reintegration through work. Therefore, both people and the environment are at the heart of the project.
The Material Library is looking for partners in the construction sector to develop its activities further.
