Held on 9 June 2026, the Bioeconomy Encounters 2026 bring together stakeholders of biobased value chains to explore where value is created and how to scale up. The event includes strategic panels, a European keynote, project showcases and networking opportunities. Organised by Valbiom.
Organised by Valbiom, the Bioeconomy Encounters 2026 will take place on 9 June 2026 and serve as a strategic platform for developing strong and competitive biobased value chains. The event gathers farmers, companies, research centres, investors and public actors to address the key question: where is value created within biobased value chains, and how can scaling‑up be achieved?
The afternoon programme features an opening session on economic and value‑chain structuring issues, a panel presenting three concrete value‑chain cases, a European keynote by Philippe Mengal (Bio‑based Industries Consortium), and a session dedicated to project needs and opportunities designed to foster collaboration. The event concludes with a networking moment from 17:00 to 19:00.
This encounter complements Valbiom’s General Assembly held earlier the same day.
