Materials Exchange 2025 - Expression of Interest

About this event

The Economic Bureau of the Province of Namur and its partners are pleased to announce the first Materials Market at the economic activity parks of Gembloux-Sauvenière and Ecolys. On a daily basis, some materials are no longer needed by businesses, such as surplus from construction sites, end-of-line items, declassified elements, leftovers, exhibition pieces, etc. Meanwhile, many individuals are looking for these materials to incorporate them into their projects with a touch of creativity and DIY.

THE CONCEPT

This event is a stock clearance operation where dormant stocks, leftover materials, and other unused elements from the construction sector can be offered to other businesses and individuals for their projects. The event operates on the principle of one person’s waste becoming another’s raw material. Participating businesses will be invited to open their doors on Friday, April 11th, and Saturday, April 12th, 2025, and offer their materials under their own terms.

The BEP and its partners will take all necessary steps to promote this event and provide the visibility needed to gather a maximum number of visitors.
