This session of the CONNECT University explored the links between digitalization and the circular economy, focusing on the opportunities created by digital solutions as well as the challenges associated with harnessing their full potential for the transition to a circular economy. At the same time, participants discovered how the shift to a circular economy is a key prerequisite for achieving many other environmental and social sustainable development goals.

This event is part of the CONNECT University Summer School 2021 on the theme "Digital for our Planet," which aims to showcase cutting-edge innovations on how digital technologies can be leveraged to combat climate change, both in terms of creating a more sustainable digital system and their role in reducing carbon emissions across all sectors.
