In 1h30, we invite you to discover industrial symbiosis with our experts, by developing this concept of collaborative resource management that creates opportunities for sustainable growth:

- Presentation of concrete examples of business parks (such as the Danish Kalundborg park) and companies that have already implemented industrial symbiosis.

- Initiating opportunities via an industrial symbiosis workshop by meeting LLN Science Park companies that are curious and/or interested in implementing this concept in their development.

This meeting is organised with a view to continuing to co-create concrete actions together for the benefit of your company and the LLN Science Park community.

On the programme

How does it work in practice?

- By completing the registration form, you will answer 4 general questions about your company, in order to specify your resource requirements, your services and the materials (resources, equipment, products, etc.) that you are prepared to share with other companies. - During the workshop, the different profiles with their needs/resources are presented to create synergies and set up collaborations.

What are Community Sessions?

With this new series of capsule events, our aim is to give a voice to the Science Park's partner companies and stakeholders, to create bubbles of exchange and innovation, to share experiences and to propose concrete tools. On 16 May 2024, we relaunched synergies with our companies via an Innovation and Sustainability event, from which emerged requests and project proposals aimed at improving our Park and helping our companies to grow. The aim of these Community Sessions will be to respond to these requests, offering concrete tools and a systemic and shared vision of the opportunities presented to our companies.

What is industrial symbiosis?

This is a model of collaboration between companies in the same area (such as our Science Park), where the waste or by-products of one entity become the resources of another. In other words, the resources or even the knowledge and services of one company can be shared and reused by another to create added value, reduce costs and minimise environmental impact. This type of cooperation optimises the use of available resources and promotes a circular economy, while strengthening links between local players.
