Wallonie Design is offering a one-day "Design CIRCO" training course for industrial, product and space designers, and production managers. The aim is to provide designers with the tools they need to support companies in the circular transition.
Developed by TU Delft, The CIRCO method combines business strategies with those of design to rethink products and services, at both company and value chain level, and guide companies through the circular transition. This method highlights the designer as an agent of change.
Wallonie Design is a certified CIRCO trainer. This certification enables them to equip designers to best support companies in the circular transition. Industrial, product and space designers in particular.

Broaden your understanding and knowledge of the circular economy, especially of related business models and design strategies.
Discover your role as a designer in the circular economy and better understand where your levers for action lie in a company's value chain.

9h15-10h Background: creation of the CIRCO Hub in Wallonia - Circular Wallonia Introduction to the CIRCO method
10h-12h Circular economy: inspiring company cases Exercises: linear value chains and value propositions Presentation - Circular business models and design strategies
12h-13h Lunch offert
1pm-5pm Exercise: Redesign - work on your own case using the method learned in the morning Feedback on results
At the end of this course, you'll be able to apply the knowledge you've acquired and support your customers in their circular economy projects.
