This basic training enables participants to better understand the following aspects:
The core concepts of waste policy: waste export, fees, transport documents, hazardous waste, material certifications, end-of-waste management, producer responsibility, etc.
The legal framework of the regulations: European, regional, etc.
The organization of the sector: which companies, public vs. private, which organizations are active in the Belgian waste treatment and recycling ecosystem, etc.
The training lasts one day. It starts at 9:30 a.m. and ends around 4:30 p.m. You are welcome to arrive from 9:00 a.m.
