About

The Water Hackathon is a collaborative event scheduled for March 13 and 14, 2025, in Wallonia. It aims to bring together private companies, public stakeholders, and sector experts to collaboratively develop innovative solutions to water management challenges in the region.

Event Objectives:

  • Network with industry professionals: Engage with private and public companies, technical experts, and passionate innovators.

  • Collaborate on concrete projects: Develop practical solutions to identified challenges in the water sector.

  • Showcase expertise: Contribute knowledge and demonstrate commitment to sustainable solutions.

  • Innovate together: Draw inspiration from the ideas and perspectives of other participants to enhance projects.

Important Notes:

  • Spaces are limited. For members of IIS H2O and/or Cluster H2O, priority will be given to private companies, with a maximum of 2 participants per organization.

  • The most promising ideas from the hackathon will receive tailored support to develop them into concrete projects. This support will take place from April to June 2025, approximately 5 days per month.
