This training will provide you with the tools to :
Identify the business levers of eco-design and their benefits for your company
Formulate a new value proposition using the Circular Business Model Canvas
De-risk the implementation of a portfolio of circular design solutions using the stage-gate method
Avoid pitfalls and support change within your company
Proposed Approach
Organised over two days, this training invites you to take on — both seriously and playfully — the role of designer of new circular solutions that are profitable for a plastics sector business, regardless of your role within your company.
On the first day, in small groups, you will be challenged to reinvent the business model of a sample company facing transition difficulties, using eco-design levers. On the second day, we will delve into the supports and obstacles to implementing the imagined solutions, as well as the levers for change.
Practical Information
Training Dates: The training takes place over two days, on Friday 21 and 28 November 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (welcome from 8:30 a.m.)
Target Audience (jobs or job categories):
The Circular Design in Plastics training is intended for companies active in the production, transformation, use or recycling of plastic products with an operational headquarters in Wallonia. Registrations are limited to two participants per company. The organisers reserve the right to refuse or cancel any registration that does not meet these conditions. All profiles from the sector are welcome! The more diverse the perspectives, the more relevant the proposed solutions will be. Whether you are mainly involved in business management, operations supervision, R&D, product sales and marketing, quality control or CSR, we will ensure that the learnings are transferable to your daily work.

A biochemist and biotechnologist by training, Philippe spent 20 years at the Solvay Group in a wide range of fields: R&D, production, business, innovation, performance improvement and sustainability, change management.
For the past 15 years, through Metamorphosis, Philippe has combined his professional activities as an entrepreneur, consultant and trainer with his passion for strong sustainability. Metamorphosis has notably supported R&D and business development projects in the field of high-performance & engineered polymers. His preferred areas of intervention include sustainable and positively impactful business models, collective intelligence and group dynamics methodologies, participatory and agile organisational functioning, breakthrough innovation and continuous improvement, design thinking and lean startup approaches, and participatory strategy deployment.
Marie-Céline Godin
Foresight Specialist – Trainer
Institut Eco-Conseil
An ecologist and foresight specialist, Marie-Céline is an expert in the participatory design of socio-ecological transition policies.
She supports various territories in developing their resilience strategies by offering tools, methodological approaches and personalised support to help them implement the necessary transformations in response to global changes.
Also a trainer and coach, Marie-Céline leads the circular economy training courses offered by the Institut Eco-Conseil to public and private actors in various sectors, including manufacturing and business services.
