About
The Valtris project, led by PEPITe S.A., deployed a smart monitoring system on an industrial waste sorting site. By analyzing motor signals and historical operating data, the system automatically detects conveyor fouling, blockages, and flow drifts.
It enables precise preventive maintenance, reduces unplanned downtime, and extends equipment life.
A second phase analyzed the optimal flow conditions based on material composition and moisture content. The data feed a visual dashboard, alerts, and reports used by site operators.
This project enhances industrial circularity by improving sorting efficiency, reducing material loss, and digitizing waste flow management. The system is currently in operation, with possible extension to other lines.
