About
The project comprises 3 housing units sharing a large garden and spanning 3 levels. It has been designed from the outset to integrate circular economy principles: integration with existing structures, use of materials with low environmental impact, spatial adaptability, technical reversibility, maintenance considerations for spaces, techniques, and materials, in-depth exploration of water and energy, and a focus on communal living.
Project stakeholders include:
Architects: Anne-Sophie Hupet (VLA-architecture) and Sophie Boone (Rotor)
Structural Engineer: Evy Estievenart (MC-carré)
Design Office: Écorce
Company 1: Couleur Terre, a social integration enterprise - responsible for structural work and timber framing
Company 2: IDR Construct - responsible for finishing touches
Windows: Fabribois
