About
The recycling of molecules, green chemistry, chemical energy storage, the development of e-molecules... Many challenges await the chemical sector, and the use of new processes or new molecules, as well as oleochemistry, offers great opportunities!
Are you interested in one of these topics but need a push to get started? Greenwin is here to discuss it with you and broaden your horizons.
Why partner with us to launch your project?
I receive subsidies to realize my ideas.
I work with competent research partners.
I establish collaborations with other industry players.
I gain visibility thanks to DETIC, essenscia, Valbiom & GreenWin.
I am supported in my reflections and administrative procedures by a qualified team and a network of international experts!
What type of project is eligible?
R&D projects must aim at the development of technological and non-technological innovations leading to the market launch of new products, processes, or services.
These must ultimately enable job creation and value generation in the Walloon region.
Any project that fits within one of the strategic business areas of GreenWin will be accepted.
Some ideas of past funded projects?
Seed2Seed: Develop biostimulants from biosourced co-products
NKL: Manufacture synthetic kerosene from CO2 capture
ECOPUR: Manufacture a polyurethane coating for medical mattress covers without DMF.

What are the conditions to respond to this call?
The projects are collaborative; the consortium must be made up of (at least) 2 research actors (universities, higher education institutions, accredited research centers, or public research organizations) and 2 Walloon companies, at least one of which must be an SME.
Greenwin can help you with the setup and identification of partners. The funding rates depend on the type of research and the participating structure; they can vary between 40% and 100% in grants. At least 65% of the project budget is allocated to businesses.
How to respond to a project call from a cluster?
The first step is to send a letter of intent (2-3 pages) to GreenWin.
Don't hesitate: Surprising ideas? Incomplete partnerships? Need help with your thinking? All ideas are welcome. We support you in the realization and funding search, and we commit to meeting with each proponent of a letter of intent.
Process
October 3, 2025: Letter of intent, initial opinions and advice for the preparation of your project
November 21, 2025: First version of the form to be submitted to GreenWin for review
If the previous steps are successful, the final projects will be submitted in March 2026.
