This potential IPCEI aims to support innovation in the field of circular advanced materials to meet the EU’s needs for a green transition, particularly in energy, mobility, and electronics.
Main goals:
Promote circularity and recyclability throughout the value chain (sourcing, eco-design, manufacturing, recycling, use phase).
Reduce dependency on non-European raw materials by setting up R&D&I and first industrial deployment projects.
Foster transnational cooperation and knowledge spillovers to enhance Europe’s industrial competitiveness.
Key requirements:
Significant innovations beyond the current state of the art.
Demonstration of market failures that justify IPCEI support.
A commitment to broad dissemination of results within the EU.
