Call for Projects “Proof of Circularity” – 2nd Edition

Support & counseling

A call for projects under Circular Wallonia, targeting eco-innovation within the Metal–Batteries–Transport value chain. Funding is offered to test circular solutions (eco-design, circular business model, or innovation strategy) in real conditions. Submit applications by May 4, 2025.

About

As part of the Circular Wallonia strategy, Pôle MecaTech is launching the “Proof of Circularity” – 2nd Edition call for projects, targeting companies and innovation stakeholders in the Metal–Batteries–Transport value chain. The goal is to finance real-world testing of eco-design innovations, whether technical solutions, circular business models, or broader innovation strategies within a company.

Financial support:

  • CIRCULAR ADOPT category : > €15,000

  • CIRCULAR AMBITION category : > €30,000 (for projects demonstrating a long-term vision)
    A 70% subsidy rate applies.

Selection criteria:

  • A self-assessment grid to demonstrate significant eco-design improvements.

  • A bonus for projects with prior groundwork (coaching, in-house reflection, CIRCO program, etc.).

Application process:

  • Review the application guide (including Annexes 1 and 2).

  • Complete and send the application form (File 2 + annexes) to laetitia.zacheo@polemecatech.be by Sunday, May 4, 2025 (midnight), with “Candidature à l’appel Proof of Circularity” in the subject line.

  • Watch the 2024 webinar for guidelines (dates and calls mentioned there are outdated).

Note: The correct deadline is May 4, 2025, even if documents show a different date.
