    About

What type of project is eligible?

R&D projects must aim to develop technological and non-technological innovations leading to the marketing of new products, processes or services.

In the long term, this should lead to the creation of jobs and value in Wallonia.

Any project that fits into one of the strategic business areas from GreenWin will be accepted:

    > Green chemistry
    > CO2 conversion
    > Biotechnologies
    > Sustainable materials
    > Energy storage and efficiency
    > Building systems
    > Recycling and recovery of by-products
    > Soil and sediment management
    > Water, sludge, air and emissions management

In 2024, any project related both to Greenwin themes and to the Télescope Einstein, including land circularity, sustainable worksite management, or the development of less polluting concretes, is welcome.

What are the conditions for answering this call?

Projects are collaborative; the consortium must be made up of (at least) 2 research players (universities, colleges, accredited research centers or public research organizations) and 2 companies, at least one of which must be an SME.

This type of collaboration makes it possible to integrate several players in a value chain (customer/supplier or 2 subcontractors of the same customer, etc.) into a single project, thereby increasing the impact of the project and pooling expertise and resources.
