Buildwise

The BBRI/buildwise has three missions :

• To develop: to carry out scientific and technical research, both pre-normative and innovative, for the benefit of its members.

• Inform: disseminate research results to members and provide them with technical and organisational support.

• Innovate: contribute to the innovation and development of the sector, in particular by carrying out contract research at the request of the sector and public authorities.

Digital technology is one of the three pillars of the BBRI's Ambitions 2025 (https://ambitions2025.cstc.be/construction-4-0).

Its teams are working to :

• Increasing productivity and quality through industrialisation and automation (robotics, etc.).

• Encouraging collaboration and the use of relevant information thanks to design and construction tools (digital mock-up / BIM, etc.).

• Accelerate decision-making and data-driven processes (AI, IoT, etc. for the connected worksite).

• Optimise site logistics and organisation for greater productivity and a better working environment (flow of people, materials, vehicles on site, planning, etc.).

• Strengthen companies by consolidating the digital know-how of their personnel (human transformation, demonstration and adoption).
