Wood Energy Tour 2025-2026 – Reducing CO₂ Emissions and Raising Awareness: The Dual Objective of the District Heating Network in the Municipality of Genappe

The district heating network installed in the Espace 2000 area of the City of Genappe supplies sustainable heat to seven buildings: the multipurpose hall, the primary school, the police station, the academy/library, the town hall, the daycare center, and the public works building. This is a great opportunity for the city to reduce its CO₂ emissions and raise citizens’ awareness of the energy transition.
