Discover how wood, a renewable and local resource, is transformed into fuel to power district heating networks and biomass boilers. During this visit, we will explore the ITS Energy production site, where you will learn how wood chips are produced from forest raw materials. You will also have the opportunity to understand the valorization of by-products, such as logs and charcoal, and discuss the challenges of managing a biomass boiler plant.
