Launch of the first Agri-Food Learning Network: Towards Sustainable Water Use with Wagralim and Fevia Wallonie. After several months of collaboration and events co-organized by Wagralim and Fevia Wallonie, the first "learning network" on sustainable water use in the agri-food industry has been launched!
The aim is to create a network of companies who can share their best practices and the issues they face in order to generate solutions and, ultimately, reduce the water footprint of their products. As companies often face similar issues, the idea is to mobilize collective intelligence and peer exchange towards a common goal: using water more sustainably in the food sector. This network is reserved for food companies that are members of Wagralim and/or Fevia Wallonie.
Practical details
3 one-day meetings a year (February, May, October) to work together on various water-related issues (CIP, water reuse, discharge, standards, new technologies, etc.), with the support of experts. .
Participants themselves define the priority topics to be addressed. These meetings are organized at member companies of the network.
Voluntary commitment to results! Each company draws up a water balance sheet for its structure, and then co-constructs a personalized action plan to be implemented over the coming years.
