On line The European Commission adopted the new Circular Economy Action Plan in March 2020. It is one of the main building blocks of the European "Green Deal", the new program for sustainable development. The aim is to encourage a transition to a circular economy in Europe in order to reduce pressure on natural resources and create sustainable jobs. The aim is also to meet the EU's 2050 climate neutrality target, and to harmonize economic growth and sustainability over the long term.
This event, proposed during the QEC, is in line with the European objectives of the circular economy and aims to familiarize the audience with existing aid for SMEs, universities and research centers via the Enterprise Europe Network organization co-financed by the European Commission. It will also present EEN and its European platform, as well as Horizon Europe funding opportunities and possible partnerships related to the circular economy.
The event will also provide an opportunity to present companies that have successfully expanded on a European or international scale, thanks to European funding.
