Service Public de Wallonie invites you to the second edition of Meet & Greet, an event that brings together players in Wallonia's public procurement sector and circular economic operators.
Come and get inspired by circular practices implemented by other public organizations, and discover concrete alternatives to traditional purchasing, contributing to a reduction in resource consumption.
Public procurement, which represents around 10% of Wallonia's GDP, is a strategic lever for the transition to a circular economy. By adopting a circular purchasing strategy, public authorities can set an example and encourage companies to develop innovative solutions. By applying the principles of the circular economy, public authorities are helping to move away from the linear economic model of “extract, manufacture, consume, throw away”. This transition contributes to preserving natural resources, reducing carbon emissions and generating economic opportunities, innovation and jobs.
