Event details

Local textiles made from natural, local fibers? It's possible! Wallonia produces many natural and local resources, including wool and hemp. Would you like to play a part in more sustainable fashion? During this event, Valbiom offers you an overview of 2 natural materials available in Wallonia: wool, an agricultural by-product, and hemp, a plant with amazing properties, will be in the spotlight. Participants will then be invited to visit the Filature du Hibou spinning mill. This spinning mill masters all stages of wool processing, from washing to knitting yarn.
