SUSTAINABILITY - Extending the life of our objects means preserving our natural resources! 40,000 tons of objects are reused every year via social and circular enterprises in Wallonia and Brussels. Reuse, repair, upcycle or recycle are the steps in the management of objects received or collected.
ENCRAGE LOCAL - Collect, sort and recycle in a short circuit! RESSOURCES brings together 74 social economy enterprises, including nearly 40 sorting centers, 50 repair workshops, 175 second-hand stores and 5,600 textile collection points. These activities are levers for relocating jobs and new raw materials!
SOLIDARITY - Giving to buy or repairing second-hand means acting for a fairer world! Profits from social and circular enterprises are reinvested 100% in solidarity projects to combat social inequality, poverty and hunger around the world.
On Thursday June 1, the RESSOURCES federation is inviting public authorities and professionals from the circular economy sector. Drawing on their expertise, a panel of experts and stakeholders from the sector will share their multifaceted visions with us, offering a global perspective on the challenges of a social and circular economy. Moderated by journalist and columnist Matthieu Pelletier, our panelists will address three key issues facing the sector.
