About
This project aims to replace the conventional culture media used by the company THT for the production of lactic acid bacteria with a co-product generated by Puratos, currently treated as waste. This co-product could also be valued as a prebiotic and postbiotic. The initiative aligns with several principles of circular economy, including waste valorization, recycling, waste reduction, and collaboration with a company located in Wallonia, thereby promoting sustainable sourcing and territorial economic attractiveness.
