Sweet Crumbs is an innovative initiative by Pâtisserie Richard to reduce food waste through circular economy principles. The project repurposes bakery by-products into “crumbler flour,” used to craft a range of six artisanal products: cookies, shortbread, financiers, cakes, crumbles, and tart bases. As a Call for projects Go Circular (2nd edition) winner, Sweet Crumbs promotes sustainability and strengthens local bakery and pastry supply chains in Wallonia.
