The Haute École de la Province de Namur (HEPN) is organizing a continuing education program titled "From Field to Construction Site: A Systemic Approach to Eco-Materials in Construction and Renovation". This course, running from January to June 2025, aims to rethink eco-construction by focusing on the sectors of eco-materials used in construction and renovation.

  • Position the use of eco-materials in the energy design of a building.

  • **Know the properties and applications

  • Know the properties and applications of bio-based materials, justifying their selection.

  • Understand the potential of current resources for reuse by future generations.

  • Establish links between eco-materials and the circular economy.

  • Assess the environmental impact of construction materials.

  • Master tools for selecting sustainable materials.

  • Gain knowledge of sustainable material production chains in Belgium.
