Digitization of building inventory processes and provision of reusable elements on an online portal

Design of a tool to digitize the inventory process, share inventory results between the players involved and make them available via an online portal. The design of this tool will be carried out in collaboration with inventory experts as part of a pilot project with a SIA client company.

The project was led by the company Circonflexe, in collaboration with three private industrial partners, including Eloy, for a duration of one year.

The conclusions drawn indicate that Circonflexe developed an innovative and relevant solution for the digitalisation of deconstruction inventories and their easy dissemination in the form of a virtual catalogue. The main added value compared to existing platforms was their focus on high-volume materials and the targeted distribution to a network of potential clients.

However, since Circonflexe only covered part of the reuse value chain (e.g. no buffer stock, no material buy-back mechanism, etc.), it was not possible to generalise the approach within the organisation.
