Call for projects - CE4I

The TWEED Cluster announces an online information session on February 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, dedicated to the call for projects titled "Collective Energy for Industry". This call aims to encourage the development of a decision support tool assessing the potential for multi-vector energy sharing on industrial sites in Wallonia.

Objectives of the call:

• Conduct a techno-economic prefeasibility study specific to an industrial site, covering contractual, financial, and legal aspects related to energy sharing.

• Develop a decision support tool to support this study, designed to be anonymized and adaptable to other industrial sites, to assess the potential for multi-vector energy sharing.

• Prepare a methodological note detailing the steps for conducting the study and developing the tool, as well as key considerations for their use.

Participation conditions:

• The call is aimed at consulting firms and technical, economic, and legal experts, encouraged to form consortia .

• Consortia must include Walloon industrial players located on the same site, motivated to implement circular projects focused on energy or CO₂ sharing and savings.

Funding and project duration:

• Two projects will be funded, each with a budget of €95,000.

• The expected duration for each project is one year, from April 2025 to April 2026.

Role of the TWEED Cluster:

• The TWEED Cluster will oversee the launch and monitoring of the projects and will be responsible for disseminating the results obtained.
