2025 GreenWin R&D Project Call

The GreenWin R&D project call aims to develop technological and non-technological innovations in Sustainable Construction, Green Chemistry, and Environment.
Projects must:

• lead to innovative products, processes, or services,

• promote job creation and value in Wallonia,

• align with GreenWin’s 2025–2030 roadmap.

Examples of eligible topics:

• Bio-based and/or circular materials

• Climate-resilient urbanization

• Carbon neutrality

• Industrialized construction

• Zero-waste strategies

Types of eligible projects:

• Products (e.g., PFAS-free hydrophobic coatings)

• Processes (e.g., thermochemical energy storage)

• Services (e.g., digital traceability of deconstruction materials)

Requirements:

• Minimum consortium: 2 research actors + 2 Walloon companies, including at least one SME

• Funding: 40% to 100% depending on structure and research type

• Comprehensive support: project structuring, partner matching, feedback, and guidance

Timeline:

• July 1, 2025: Letter of intent submission

• Mid-August 2025: Draft form submission for review

• End of December 2025: Final project submission
